"This is just a short note to let you know again how grateful I am and will be always for what you've done for me. I was a size 14 when you operated on me - I am now a size 8. I haven't been that size since the mid-70's and never thought I'd see it again. I will enjoy it for however long it lasts. The skin that was puckered after my liposuction, that you said would never tighten completely because of my age - now 65 - has tightened up. It will never be flat but I'm fine with that.
I do walk, exercise in our pool, and do some palates.
Today I had my regular mammogram and they asked where I had my surgery and by whom - it is the best job of breast reduction they've seen — thought you might like to hear this.

Dr. Moss, I'll say it again, "You have the face of a pediatrician," which in your field serves you well. Its not easy as a woman to take her clothes off in fluorescent lit room (anyone who's gone bathing suit shopping would understand) and feel comfortable, but you made it okay. I did not feel judged or uncomfortable. You were so attentive to my needs, concerns and questions, and made yourself available to me as if I were your only patient.
Carla, well Carla is what I imagine when I hear the quote "Behind every successful man is a great woman," I believe it to be true, she was like visiting family, she treated me like a sister or a niece. She cares about your patients, she cares about people, and she's transparent and genuine.
As for my procedure, abdominoplasty, my results are amazing. I viewed hundreds of pictures on-line of tummy tucks and at the risk of sounding vain, my results look better than almost any others that I have seen. After the procedure, you made sure I was comfortable, my pain level was surprisingly low, and with your compilations of medication, Novocain pack, and binder I was fairly comfy. Only weeks later, I feel like I got a part of myself back.
After my children were born, for the first time in my life, I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. I was self conscious, and went to great lengths not to expose my stomach, even with my husband. I avoided vacations, swimming lessons with my children when they were infants, if my family was invited to a pool party, I made sure we couldn't make it. It's been almost two weeks since the procedure and I feel like I've regained a part of me a part of myself, the part that's confident, secure, fearless and honestly, I've regained a sense of pride.
I've always taken good care of myself. I eat all organic food, no smoking, no drinking and my appearance is always presentable. Having a poor body self image really affected how I was feeling about myself.
